Venado Azul Panhuethuetl

This one of a kind drum is simultaneously an art piece you can hang or one you can play in ceremony. Made of cattle hide, stretched to 13 inches. Made by Dos Cuervos of Teotihuacán and hand painted by me, Cihua Mazatl. It is painted in oils, temazcal proof. 
I painted this drum while singing medicine songs and channeling my experiences from medicine ceremonies.
