Tlacuilolli del Fuego Mail Club
A ritual mail subscription by artist and firekeeper Cihua Mazatl

Each month, you’ll receive a sacred envelope filled with visual storytelling, personal reflection, and symbolic fire. This offering is for those who crave ritual, beauty, meaning, and something tangible to hold in their hands. This is for all folk, but especially for indigenous, reconnecting indigenous, latinx, and chicanx folk. I use a bit of nahuatl and some spanglish for some occasional spice :) 

What began as a journey through firekeeping, the Popoxcomitl, and the wisdom of the four directions has now deepened into a new chapter. As the Mail Club enters its tenth month, it continues to follow the living thread of the inner fire.

This month, I return to the sahumerio as a central image while opening the door to a new guide for the rest of the year: Tlazolteotl. Through painting, letters, essences, and reflection, the Mail Club will begin exploring my arts based reasearch with her, I will be sharing my discoveries, her wisdom, and teachings, all stemming from my creative fire to yours. 

Though the imagery evolves, the heart of the Mail Club remains the same: art as medicine, letters as philosophical offering, and the sacred work of tending the fire within. Everything I create comes from the inner flame I keep  and each envelope is made to help you kindle your own.

These are intimate offerings, themed around a central artwork from my current body of work, and sent with mucho amor each month. Together, they form an unfolding story told through image, palabra, and ritual.

Inside the envelope

Depending on the month and tier, your envelope may include:

• A first-edition art print or postcard from my current painting series
• A monthly letter or message from the fire

• Writing prompts, creative prompts, meditations, or ritual suggestions
• Worksheets or guided reflection pages
• Stickers, sticker sheets, bookmarks, linocut prints, or other small paper offerings

Many of these pieces can be used in your own way  for scrapbooking, journaling, ritual use, altar images, creative practice, or as small reminders of what you are tending in your own life.

Tier 1 - Full Ritual Envelope
$20/month
Includes the full experience: letter, art print or postcard, stickers, bookmarks, prompts, rituals, and additional rotating goodies.

Tier 2 - Letter + Postcard
$8/month
A simpler entry tier that includes the monthly letter and art print postcard, plus the occasional small extra such as a sticker.

Billing
Charged monthly on the date you sign up. Cancel anytime.

Mailing Date
Mailings are shipped around the first week of each month through USPS First Class.

Sign-Up Deadline
Sign up by the 25th of the month to receive the upcoming edition.

Refunds
Because each mailing is created in small batches, all sales are final. If your mail is lost or damaged, please reach out for support.

Limited Capacity
Subscriptions are limited in order to keep the process intentional and sustainable. When spots fill, sign-ups will pause until space opens again.
