This piece is titled "Ama a la niña" and it is a piece about unconditional love. This piece is about loving the child inside all of us and learning to self-parent. It is a piece that speaks of our connection to the eternal universe, of our connection to our earthly siblings and how they can guide us. The moth and bat are nocturnal creatures that share medicine about navigating in darkness and the morning glory is the promise that the sun will rise again. Pollination also occurs at night and through the night we can see our cosmic reflection in the night sky shining back at us. You may look at this piece and not see yourself but your child also, whatever interpretation you take this piece is about love. May this piece remind you of the warmth love, may it reassure you that you are enough and that all you need is you. This piece was  inspired by Martha Ojeda’s story and is dedicated to her.
