The time of birth is significant because the hour sign can change approximately every 15 minutes. If you do not know your time of birth, the reading will default to midnight. Please fill in all necessary information at checkout.

A Relationship Reading Through the Sacred Count

This reading is for couples, partners, spouses, simply two people in a committed relationship who want to better understand the energetic field between them through the Tonalpohualli. 

The Tonalamatl was a written and oral telling or reading of one's birth energies, destiny, and life path. In this couple's reading, each person receives insight into their individual Tonalamatl, while also exploring the relationship between both energies: where they harmonize, where they challenge one another, what each person activates in the other, and what the relationship may be asking both people to learn, tend, or transform.

This is not a simple compatibility reading.

It is not meant to decide whether a relationship is "good" or "bad," or whether two people are "meant to be." Instead, this reading is a mirror for the shared path. It offers language, reflection, and guidance around the dynamic between two people through the sacred count.

What is a Tonalamatl?

The Tonalpohualli is the 260-day sacred count, divided into a twenty day cycle represented by signs and a thirteen day cycle known as the trecena. Each day carries a specific sign, number, essence, and relationship to different sacred forces or teotl.

Your birth date, time, and location reveal a unique combination of energies. These energies can speak to your temperament, strengths, challenges, spiritual responsibilities, creative gifts, and life path. Our ancestors used this information to understand a person's Tonalli, the first ray of light and essence received at birth.

Marriage and Relationship Prognostication in the Tonalpohualli

Within Mesoamerican divinatory traditions, the Tonalpohualli was not only used to understand an individual life path. It was also used to read the qualities of certain days, ceremonies, unions, and important life transitions.

Some surviving Mexican divinatory codices include marriage almanacs and scenes connected to marriage ceremonies and prognostications. These images were used to understand the energies surrounding union, partnership, and the possible blessings or challenges connected to a relationship.

For this offering, I include an additional relationship page with your traditional marriage/union prognostication image. This page does not replace the full individual Tonalamatl readings. Instead, it adds another layer: the shared field between both people.

Live Zoom Session

This offering includes a 2.5-hour live Zoom session. This will be recorded and available for download.

During this session, I will guide both people through their individual Tonalamatl readings and then move into the relationship interpretation. This session allows space for questions, reflection, and deeper conversation around the unique path of each person and the shared dynamic between you.

Returning Couple Integration

If both people have already received their individual Tonalamatl readings from me, you may book the Returning Couple Integration Session instead.

That 1-hour session focuses on the relationship between both energies and includes the union/marriage prognostication page as a continuation of your previous readings.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Rescheduling:
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice. Any rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the appointment will incur a $25 fee.

Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.

No-Show Policy:
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued. Rescheduling after a no-show will incur a $25 fee.

Refund Exceptions

I strive to offer flexibility where possible and understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you experience an emergency or unavoidable situation, please reach out, and I will assess whether an exception can be made on a case-by-case basis.

A Note on Calendrics and Correlations

My Tonalamatl readings are based on the Arturo Meza correlation, a system I feel deeply aligned with after years of study and practice.

I recognize that there are multiple approaches to interpreting Mesoamerican calendars, and these can sometimes lead to variations in day signs, much like the differences between Vedic, Tropical, and Western astrology. Each system offers its own wisdom and perspective, and I believe their true value resides in how we connect with them and apply their teachings to our lives.
